In March, roughly 1,200 students from approximately 130 Wisconsin high schools compete in occupational series' and projects at the State Career Development Conference. Events take the form of both written tests and role-play situations. Judging is done by business owners and managers from throughout Wisconsin. Students receive medallions for being an event finalist and trophies are awarded to the top students for overall series performance.
