The Christopher Vicenzi Marketing Scholarship annually recognizes a deserving Brown Deer High School graduating senior who plans to pursue a degree in Marketing. First presented in 1983, this award honors both the recipient as well as the memory of Christopher Vicenzi who was a member of the Brown Deer High School graduating class of 1977.
Original funding for the scholarship came from donations and fund-raising activities. Today, funding is overseen by Elio and Jean Vicenzi.

Qualifications
For consideration, a candidate must meet the following criteria: |
- Completion of at least one year in Brown Deer's Marketing program.
- Demonstrate above average ability in Marketing.
- Plan on majoring in Marketing or Marketing-related area at a four-year college or university.
|
Candidates will also be judged on how well they meet the following: |
- Active participation in DECA.
- Character and citizenship demonstrated in the school environment.
- Enthusiasm.
- The enterprising nature of the individual.

Award
The recipient is presented an individual plaque and will have his/her name added to the permanent plaque on display in the Marketing classroom. The monetary award of $500 is paid in the form of a check made co-payable to the recipient and their chosen college or university. The scholarship is presented at Brown Deer's annual Awards Assembly in early June.

David P. Wittemann Business Scholarship
|
|

|
|
David Wittemann was a former marketing student and DECA member who graduated from Brown Deer High School in 1980. Presented for the first time in 1987, the scholarship recognizes a graduating senior who will attend a four-year college or university and major in any business-related field. Originally started by the Wittemann family, the award today is funded by the Brown Deer DECA chapter.

- Demonstrate excellence in the Marketing classroom.

The recipient is presented an individual plaque and will have his/her name added to the permanent plaque on display in the Marketing classroom. The monetary award will vary from $100 to $400 per recipient. A check is made co-payable to the recipient and their chosen college or university. The scholarship is presented at Brown Deer's annual Awards Assembly in early June.
